Welcome to the Owl

Our vision is community first. We want to have a place for friends to meet, we want to be your stop between home and work, where you are welcomed with a smile and a taste of something delicious.

With strong community support, we've been able to feature the best quality beverages: fresh roasted and hand selected. We also feature some of Michigan's finest craft beers and ciders.

We're all about making real connections and growing our community. We host events for a wide range of interests—from morning coffee chats with local groups and clubs, to afternoons filled with productive work sessions, to evenings enjoyed with craft beverages in hand. This is a place to laugh, connect, and live life in a welcome community.

Locally Roasted Coffee

All of our coffee is locally roasted at Hyperion in Ypsilanti, they exclusively roast only the best beans from across the coffee belt.

Local Spirits Featured

Many of our craft cocktails are built with spirits from Ann Arbor Distilling, Two James of Detroit & Iron Fish Distillery, along with many other house made or locally sourced ingredients.

Weekly Events

Trivia, live music, run/walk groups, markets, and more. Most events are free to attend, just come out and join the fun.

We don't have a full kitchen, but we offer fresh pastries from Rich Green Bakery (delivered multiple times per week) and delicious cheesecake by the slice from EK Cheesecakes.

Better yet - we welcome outside food! Feel free to bring in food from any of the nearby restaurants in downtown Milan, including our local pizzerias, Chinese restaurant, Mexican restaurant, or burger joints. Enjoy your meal with our craft beverages!

Yes! We're available for private events, meetings, and community gatherings. Whether it's a work meeting, club gathering, celebration, or other event, we'd love to host you.

We always welcome groups into our space, if your private event, celebration, meeting or community gathering wants to share in our community space, we welcome you to join us.

We have t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, pint glasses, wine glasses, stickers, and to-go beverages (coffee cans and cocktail cans) available in our store but we don’t offer online ordering at this time, everything we do is small volume so please stop by in person for what we are offering at this time.

Absolutely! Families are welcome throughout the day. While we serve craft beer and cocktails in the evening, we're a family-friendly establishment. Kids can enjoy smoothies, hot chocolate, and other non-alcoholic beverages while parents enjoy our full menu of coffee and craft drinks.
